Some outstanding properties and top applications of fireproof cotton:

1. Ceramic cotton (heat resistant to 1260 degrees Celsius):

• Low thermal conductivity.
• Very high heat resistance.
• Chemical stability & thermal shock resistance.
• Sound absorption – High product durability.

2. Rockwool (heat resistant to 850 degrees Celsius)

• Khả năng cách nhiệt tốt: hệ số dẫn nhiệt thấp, K<0,045 m.oK/W
• Khả năng cách âm tốt: Cấu trúc dạng sợi với tỷ trọng cao giúp giảm tiếng ồn, giảm độ khuếch âm của mái ,vách và trần .
• Không bắt lửa: Đây là ưu điểm vượt trội của Rockwool về khả năng chống cháy với nhiệt độ làm việc lên đến 650oC.
• So với bông thủy tinh thì bông khoáng rockwool có nhiều ưu điểm cũng như khả năng cách nhiệt cách âm cao hơn.
