Heat-resistant ceramic cotton solution
Heat-resistant ceramic wool is a durable insulation material, heat-resistant up to 1,800°C, used to protect and reduce heat loss in furnaces and industrial heat systems.
Insulating ceramic wool is divided into two types: heat-resistant and extremely high temperature resistant. Although both types withstand high temperatures and can be used as insulation, the material performance of each type for insulation differs significantly.
Heat-resistant ceramic wool.
In general, this type of material has lower temperature resistance than type 2. It is a material with lower durability than type 2. The material formula includes: Ceramco A9468 (94% heat-resistant alumina), Ceramco A9968 ( 99% heat-resistant alumina) and Ceramco MUL6 (heat-resistant Mullite).
Applications include:
- Heat protection for pipelines.
- Fire prevention and insulation for high-rise buildings, apartments, and commercial areas.
- Insulation for public buildings.
