Instructions for care of Rockwool mineral wool

1. Preservation of Rockwool mineral wool during transportation:

• Insulated cotton bales need to be protected from the effects of weather, mechanical damage and limit vibrations when the vehicle is in motion.
• The loading space of the vehicle must be dry and clean, avoiding strong impact on the cotton because it will cause the cotton to deform, making it difficult to apply.
• Avoid placing Rockwool mineral wool near or in contact with sharp edges and curves, which can damage the bale.
• If Rockwool products are shipped with other insulation or building materials, Minh Quan Insulation recommends separating or keeping the materials away from each other.
• For Rockwool pipes, when transporting, it is advisable to choose vehicles that are suitable for transportation rules for each type and keep away from steam.4

2. Rockwool mineral wool storage and handling:

• Rockwool products should be stored in packages or cartons and sorted by type and size for easy search.
• If conditions do not permit, must be left outdoors, should have tarps under or keep packages off the ground and prevent water from entering.
• We recommend storing Rockwool in an indoor or outdoor tent that protects the material from rain and dew.
• Rockwool mineral wool is available in many different grades and specifications, each with different advantages and applications depending on the specific project.
