Rolled materials include glass wool and Rockwool ( rockwool ). These insulation materials are easily installed in accessible spaces such as wall cavities and some types of attics. This material is very stable, tolerates slight surface variations, and it can be cut to the required shape.
To achieve maximum insulation benefits, rolled insulation should fill the space and not be compressed, and should have no gaps (especially avoiding pressing the edges).
Some products may be non-flammable or may be resistant to high temperatures. Please contact the factory or Minh Quan insulation consultant to verify that the products you request are flammable or not. Safety equipment and protective clothing should be worn during handling and installation.
2. Technical notes for soundproofing and heat-insulating materials in rolls
Rolled insulation materials such as glass wool and mineral wool are often poor air-tight products. Sometimes these products are stuffed into cracks and voids (at the top of basements or around windows) to prevent air leakage. This practice is ineffective. Always retain air using appropriate materials and techniques.
